Welcome to The Salty Marie Trails Fest – where the ride is wild, the vibes are high, and the good times roll all weekend long. Now in its third year, this celebration of all things trail is bigger, better, and saltier than ever.

Hosted at the legendary Hiawatha Highlands in Sault Ste. Marie, The Salty Marie is your chance to experience the city’s growing trail scene – whether you're here to race, cruise, cheer, or chill.

This isn’t just for the podium-chasers. It’s for weekend warriors, casual cruisers, and trail-loving families too. From epic races to scenic rides, tasty eats from local food vendors, cold drinks, cool gear, and all-around great energy – there’s something for everyone at the arena.

Friday, July 25th 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

• Location: Downtown Plaza (526 Bay Street) There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase for those looking for something to eat.
• Pick up your race-packet (race plate, swag, etc.)
• NOTE: Plan your arrival at packet-pickup on Friday accordingly to bid a farewell to our 200km Racers (p.s. They start from the Downtown Plaza @ 5:30PM)

Saturday, July 27th, 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM

• Location: Salty Headquarters (Kinsmen Centre at Hiawatha Highlands; 780 Landslide Rd.)
• Pick up your race-packet if you missed this on Friday!
• ALL racers must arrive at Salty HQ to receive your timing chip and to check-in for your race. You MUST check-in and pick up your chip NO LATER than 30 mins prior to the start of YOUR race! NOTE: your chip is NOT included in your packet pick up and MUST be picked up the morning of the race.

RACE START TIMES:

** 7:00 - Racer Sign-In / Chip Pick-Up

7:30am - 25km RUN start

8:30am - 50km MTB start

9:00am - 25km MTB start

9:30am - 10km MTB start

10:00am - 10km RUN start

12:00pm - 2km kids MTB start
